About Katie Barela
Katie is the marketing coordinator for Foxfire Systems Group. She joined the team in 2019 as a Product Specialist and spent about a year in that role before transitioning to a marketing position. As the marketing coordinator, she is responsible for getting the companies information into the hands of prospective clients. However, she also spends a lot of time working to keep Foxfire’s current clients updated on new system information, events, and providing resources for training and workflows.
Prior to Foxfire, she was the Office Manager at Total Eye Care for 8 years. Her father is an optometrist. So, she has been in this industry her entire life. She spent several years working with a group called the National Coalition of Eye Care IPAs as their preferred vendor coordinator to help them create and maintain relationships with strategic vendor partners. She is a graduate of New Mexico State University, where she received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
